Today, we mainly rely on 2D screen interfaces, joysticks, or keeping the drone in sight. But what if we could design an interface that lets users plan a flight path even when the drone is out of view? With support from RFF Viken, we had the opportunity to explore this idea. In this post, we’ll share what we discovered and how this approach could change the way we use drones.

The summer 2019 we have been participating on successful field test of an “astronaut smart glove” for future human exploration of the Moon, Mars and beyond.
